I have taught singers of all ages and experience levels since my time as an undergraduate and love helping others find their most free, expressive vocalism. I believe, no matter the genre, that great singing comes from a thorough understanding of ones instrument and of the music itself. My students are often cross-trained in classical, pop and musical theater styles and I often incorporate movement and ear training into lessons. My goal is for each individual to sing with their own voice, to celebrate their unique strengths and help build well-rounded singers who love their craft.

Students have placed in the top percentiles of their State Musical Associations, have participated in All-State choirs, have earned leading and supporting roles in school and community theater productions and have been accepted at institutions such as Berkeley, the Glenn-Korff School of Music and Interlochen.
