About the event

This 2026 premiere marks the third and final installment of a tryptich of vocal chamber works by Jon Deak. The works take their inspiration loosely from Scandanavian mythology and tell the story of Greta, a young activist, as she fights for the sanctity of the natural world and her community. The performance on April 18th begins at 4pm with a pre-concert talk, both performances will take place at the Ring Auditorium in DC's Hirshhorn Museum of Art and Sculpture.
